It Was the End of a Decade // Project 365 // Day 365

I've done it.

There are 365 photos from my year ( a couple from previous years).

What a weird wild ride this has been. I really found myself this year. I found my voice again, with it my strength. And I plan to forge on.

I realised the only person I have ever lost and needed back is myself.

I have loved so much of the year and I am a competly different person from the broken person at the beginning of the year who was unsure of every step she was taking and taking them anyway because she felt that she had to.

2020 will become my year on intention. 2019 seemed to happen by accident.

I've needed it.

All years have there mixtures of good and bad, ying and yang this year wasn't without it. But I'm feeling positive.  It was all needed for these lessons life is giving me.

So we end a decade as we leave this year.

Time for a new chapter.

Save The Date // Project 365 // Day 363

It's a year to go, until my friends wedding.

I adore her Save the date which I'm currently using as a tree decoration.

Lets Get Drunk On Christmas // Project 365 // Day 358

Well, the longest nights all year
Deserve a little cheer
So find some mistletoe
And drink some cider, wine, or beer

Let's get a little bit drunk
It's time to party til the morning
Let's get a little bit drunk
It's fine on Christmas Eve

Party Chariot // Project 365 // Day 354

Hoot the Redeemer, is another little quirky spot in  Edinburgh that I completely recommend you try with a 50's Cinema vibe. Alcoholic Ice Cream Machine, Claw Machine full of Cocktail ingredients for a bespoke drink the place has a lot to offer.

The staff are lovely and helpful and its a great spot to take a photo or fifty.

Private Detectives // Project 365 // Day 352

Once Byrant and Mack now Bullard and Worth Private Detectives Club, is one of my favourite haunts in Edinburgh a small intimate venue with small quirks and a great atmosphere.

When you arrive you may be put off by the exterior that looks like it is in fact uninhabited, you must knock on the door to be welcomed inside. Where you will be seated and brought menus as if there were cases you were looking over. As you now are a Private Detective going about your business in the dimly lit bar.

Next time your wandering about Rose Street I very much recommend giving this place a look.

Life asked Death // Project 365 // Day 350

Life asked death
why do people love me
and hate you
Death replied because
you are beautiful lie
and I am a painful
truth

a ver merry Christmas
to you

Irresistible // Project 365 // Day 349

It's one more shot of whiskey when you're already drunk
And you should go home but you know that you won't
You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't
it's irresistible

Lil' Break // Project 365 // Day 347

At the end of November I took my friend away for her birthday that wasn't until the 11th of December. Mainly cause we both work in retail which makes December birthdays hard.

So we grabbed a little overnighter in the Capitol.

We Need A Little Christmas // Project 365 // Day 343

There's something magical about donning everything in lights in December, it sort of makes the mad dash to get everything sorted a little more bearable.

Oxford Street // Project 365 // Day 339

I took my feet

To Oxford Street
Trying to right a wrong
Just walk away
Those windows say
But I can't believe she's gone
When you're still waiting for the snow to fall

Doesn't really feel like Christmas at all

Mistletoe // Project 365 // Day 335

Grey fake plastic mistletoe
Wrap me in a great big bow and tear me apart
It's Christmas time so open up the flood gates
Tell me that it'll be late and rip me apart
