The Life You Led // Project 365 // Day 314

Since 1988 the Govan dry docks have lay abandoned, a small glimpse of a time that's stood still, untouched.

A wander through is somewhat eyry, for being so close to a built up area you really feel like you are trespassing in the middle of nowhere.

This photo is glued to an old post. A young girl now tarnished and aged has withstood the years and weathers. A good luck omen for someone who worked there. Or a picture to remind them why the worked so hard. It captures a moment in time.

Who knows when it was placed and by whom. Who knows who it is in the picture and what life she went on to lead. But there she stays.

Let the past be the past // Project 365 // Day 91

I’m still learning to go back and re-read my own chapters
Without feeling like I want to set all of my pages alight

- E.V ROGINA -

I was trying to find a specific memory card last night and in trying to find it came into contact with a lot of footage I haven’t had to deal with in a while. That I will need to sort at some point.

History is a weird thing, you can have all these shared experiences with people and suddenly they can mean nothing. Or a mistake can be made  and it can tar your whole perception of situations.

I’m trying to let the past be what it is. Let the happy moments not be tarred by the present. Let it not effect the future.

It’s all a work in progress.
