Where You Lead I Will Follow You // Project 365 // Day 292

Where you lead, I will follow
Anywhere that you tell me to
If you need, you need me to be with you
I will follow where you lead

To the woman who brought me in this world and has since guided me through it. To know I can confess and confide in you. To know there is no judgement. To know we have grown to be friends. Pleases me greatly when I see what other outcomes there can be, we're lucky.

Thank you for showing me strength, patience and resilience. To know that not every person will appear in every chapter, to cut ties when needed and always know yourself and stand up for yourself.

Where you lead I will follow.

xoxo

#MusicMonday: Beautiful - Carole King

Not the Musical this time but the song.

Does anyone else have a song, that just makes them feel instantly better and more uplifted. For me this is that song. The lyrics really just speak volumes.

#MusicMonday Beautiful - Carole King

"You've got to get up ever morning with a smile on your face

And show the world all the love in your heart

Then people gonna treat you better
You're gonna find, yes, you will
That you're beautiful as you feel"
-Carole King-

Ughhh, this is by far one of the best tunes to start a monday to. I get instantly more upbeat when I start my morning singing along to this! Try it I swear it works. Just remember to put your all into it. It makes for a different morning routine but its totally worth it and you will find, yeah, you will That you're beautiful as you feel!

Beautiful - The Carole King Musical [review]

I went to see Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. I had decided not to listen to the soundtrack before I went. But its one of those musicals like Mamma Mia and We will Rock you. You know all the songs before your arrive.  It's an almost comforting feeling.

The story follows Kings years writing along side first husband Gerry Goffin, for Don Krishner at Aldon Music. Until her and Goffins divorce and she moves out to LA where she records Tapestry. Showing the highs and lows of personal and professional life during the point.

Complete with great soundtrack. And amazing acting by Katie Brayben (Carole King), Alan Morissey (Gerry Goffin), Lorna Want (Cynthia Weil), Ian McIntosh (Barry Mann), Gary Trainer (Donnie Krishner) and an amazing company. The crowd wasn't just clapping after amazing singing performances, but after some spectacular dialogue scenes.

So if you have the chance go and see Beautiful - The Carole King Musical at the Aldwych Theatre. Or even just check out the soundtrack it will be well worth it.
