this time... // project 365 // Day 82

At the forefront of my mind for the past couple of hours I have been screaming at myself to put up todays post, but I couldn't find a picture. I have a few topics buzzing about my head but no motivation to really think them out.

So here's a photo from December, the last of 2018's Time of the Months are up on my youtube channel and soon enough I'm going to be posting regular content again.

I want to be more creative I want to spend more time making things.

So in the mean time have a gander at that. December was full I went to the Lea Michele and Darren Criss concert, and then there was a lot of Christmas festivities and of course new years.

#MusicMonday: Other People's Greatest Hits - Patent Pending

This week's Music Monday is Patent Pending's "Other People's Greatest Hit's and I am 100% obsessed with this album.  Never in my life did I think I'd openly tell people that I enjoy "Spice Up Your Life" but it's now on my gym playlist.

Patent Pending have picked some unusual choices for there cover album for the pop-punk band.  Along with the Spice Girl's, Spice Up your life the album also feature's Shout out to my Ex, Little Mix and Livin' La Vida Loca.

My favourite of the album is the first track a Mash up of Tiesto's "Wasted" and Avicii's "Wake Me Up". This song is an instant mood booster.  I have it on constant repeat it's such a great spin.

The whole album just works so well but other notably great covers are Mr Brightside and Can't take my eyes of you.

So go listen and enjoy the album!

#MusicMonday : Armageddon - Patent Pending

Patent Pending released a new album... or an EP. Who cares its new Music. Armageddon has four new track and also contains Brighter that is also featured on the album Brighter.

The EP starts with "Too Much too think" that keeps the same high energy feel that really makes Patent Pending. I can already imagine how these songs would be at there live shows. So I really can't wait for the next time that they have a UK tour.

The whole album, has a new feel to it but also hasn't strayed to much from there last album Brighter. But once again they have shown there sheer brilliance. This is a band that create amazing music. As well as Creating Mario and the BrickBreakers and making music that works with the character we all know as well as making a 30 min mockumentary on there faux band.

I thoroughly recommend you all take a listen to this album and check out there backlog. There is defiantly a song for everyone with this band.

#MusicMonday : Brighter - Patent Pending

Patent Pending are one of these bands that have this insane amount of energy on stage. As well as an incredible catalogue of work. I have had the privilege of seeing them live numerous times as well as meeting them.

They recently released a music video to the song Brighter, which is a part of a trilogy that goes "One Less Heart to Break", "Second Family" and "Brighter". Each song will speak to you on a whole other level.

#MusicMonday: Patent Pending presents...

#MusicMonday again and this weeks choice is Patent Pending present Mario and the Brick Breakers: Greatest hits. This Ep was released last Tuesday and did amazingly in the UK charts hitting no7 in the pop charts and no16 overall, which is brilliant for the 6 song Ep that has a song entitled boom boom pass the mushroom.

The Ep opens on  Hey Mario a ingenious song off there Brighter album. The whole album follows suit and is pure brilliance, an incredible work and I urge you all to go and check out everything Patent Pending have done. This band has an unreal energy that is intensified when you see them live (which I have had the pleasure of three times now) but the energy is also incredibly evident in all of there recorded work.

So stay tuned for what's to come from Mario and the brick breakers, including a thirty minute documentary and not one but five music videos. How many bands can you say have done that

...10 months later

I keep thinking to myself awk I will update the blog tonight… yeah that’s been 10 months of thinking that, but to be honest not much has been happening… and time has been flying. Anyway I FINALLY! finished high school and was left in a limbo area of education as I had no clue what happened next. When my exam results came in I was upset and further confused about the future… though they weren’t exceptionally bad… I hadn’t quite met my conditions for my course at college. So I went to another college to enrol in night school to get a better grade on my higher English… after waiting in a THREE HOUR queue and getting in to the course I had a missed call and a voicemail to tell me that I had been accepted on to the original course of TV Production.  Was just a palava really. But now I’m here and I am enjoying it. And that two-to-three weeks of just not knowing what to do and nothing going right is a distant memory.

The rest of the year has really just been filled with going out with friends, studying and work with the occasional concert inbetween.  AND I TURNED 18 WOOP!!!!.... so I’ve found myself with very little to write about… and very little time to write.

So Here's a little glimpse of my year... in pictures

The year started with a lot of snow... and a few snow days

Saw Bon Jovi with Bethany for the 2nd time

Wee day trip to the beach
