Farewell April // Project 365 // Day 120

We are now wrapping up April and venturing forth into May.

I'm Excited for all I have planned this month and it should be a really good one, with some concerts and travel there is much on the road ahead.

April has been a grafting month. I've been working hard and hopefully this will finally reach some pay off.

For the first time ever I have truly appreciated spring and all it brings with it. And though tiring April has challenged me and left me striving for better prospects.

So cheers.

Exhausted // Project 365 // Day 118

11 days 14 shifts later and I'm exhausted and instead of switching off the alarm tomorrow, Its set nice and early for me to go to the gym.

I'm getting into a routine of waking up early so there's no point in wasting good habits and struggling when I return to work.

But I am done in. Hopefully a good nights sleep can cure me.

The Road Home // Project 365 // Day 117

The road homes nice.

But I’m restless and I’m looking for that ticket out.

A new city to roam.

Wander through another town.

Is Their Life Out There // Project 365 // Day 116

I'm currently on an 8 day streak of working without a day off which has included three split shifts and has two days left to go.

I haven't done this kinda crazy shift work in a while and I feel a little run ragged.

After a disastrous end to 2018 I decided that every week I needed at least one day off... not a big ask but I go a little crazy sometimes.  To have a break and realise there's life out there.

This year because I have set myself this 365 goal, I have realised that there is so much to do with days off and I constantly feel like I don't have time to do all I want to do.

So being constantly trapped within the same monotony is a little killer, especially when I have made major strides this year in making time for myself and creating boundaries.

Next week when I have time off I will be back to exploring and discovering what else is out there. For not my restless spirit will have to settle with the fact that the money I'm earning is going towards some further a field travels coming up.

You Don’t Bring Me Flowers Anymore // Project 365 // Day 115

Ever walk past something that really requires further explanation, but whatever story you make up in your head I defiantly going to be miles best than the truth.

I passed these fake flowers on top of a palette just before the close that takes you to the high street from my work.

I genuinely laughed out loud when I seen it.

There was nobody about.

But somebody has to have placed it there.
